New plans available at Eaglecrest in Yorkville

Days after launching its new Signature Series of homes at Windstone Place in North Aurora, Gladstone Homes announced the Signature Series also will be available, along with Gladstone's Premier Series plans, at Eaglecrest at Grande Reserve, the master-planned clubhouse community near Route 34 west of Orchard Road in Yorkville.

"We had such a strong response in favor of the Signature Series," said Gladstone General Sales Manager Vicki Romanski, "we decided to add it to the choices at Eaglecrest."

Romanski said customers have been inquiring about Windstone Place since last fall when Gladstone broke ground for the 66-home development along Oak Street near Orchard Road in North Aurora.

"Before we even formally announced or released the plans, we had customers making appointments for Windstone Place," she said.

The Signature Series includes three new floor plans ranging in size from 3,094 square feet to 3,206 square feet, priced in the $300,000s.

"By introducing the Signature Series at Eaglecrest, we are able to broaden the range of price points Gladstone can offer at Grande Reserve," Romanski said.

Gladstone's Premier Series plans, several of which have been available at Eaglecrest since early last year and three plans that were introduced late last summer, range from 3,300 square feet to more than 4,000 square feet and are priced from the upper $300,000s to mid-$400,000s.

Romanski said that she initially expected young families would gravitate toward the clubhouse communities and be her primary customers at Eaglecrest.

"In reality, we're seeing all kinds of home buyers: a lot of young families, along with empty nesters, couples without children and even singles who are looking for the type of community that brings home owners together in common recreational space," she said.

"The Signature Series plans offer plenty of home at more than 3,000 square feet, and the expanded range of plans is well-suited to this range of home buyers," she said.

Each designed with the Premier Series in mind, the new Signature Series plans offer an innovative use of space that creates open sight lines, spacious yet functional kitchen and family room areas, dynamic master retreats and a study in lieu of a traditional living room.
