Gladstone Homes Approaches 1,000 Homes Sold$75,000 Cash to be Awarded through "Milestone 1,000" Celebration Gladstone News Service July 15, 2005 NAPERVILLE, Ill., July 15, 2005 - Gladstone Homes is giving away $75,000 cash through its "Milestone 1,000" celebration, July 15 through Sept. 24, 2005. The two-month event is celebrating the approaching sale of Gladstone’s 1,000th new home. "I started Gladstone Homes in 1989 with a single parcel of in-fill land, and a bit of know-how and vision," said Dave Bolger, Gladstone’s president and founder. "This event celebrates a dream achieved, and also might help three lucky winners achieve their dreams." Gladstone will host three drawings, one for each of three sales centers: Eaglecrest at Grande Reserve in Yorkville, Heritage Oaks in Plainfield and Moose Lake Estates in North Aurora. Each drawing will award a $25,000 prize and entries will be accepted at the sales centers July 15 through September 18. No purchase is necessary for entry. The drawings will be held between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sept. 24, at Gladstone’s Eaglecrest sales center. Entrants must be present at the drawing to win. The three cash prizes will be awarded in the form of checks. However, winners who purchase a Gladstone Home may have their prizes applied to a mortgage reduction or new home upgrades. "While our customers usually are floored by the amenities that are standard in Gladstone Homes, there are some fabulous upgrades available," said Gladstone Design Center Coordinator Marcia Burns. "It’s pretty amazing what an additional $25,000 investment can do for a home, both in aesthetics and long-term value." During the celebration Gladstone will host a special Milestone 1,000 section on its Web site, www.gladstonehome.com, with stories that illustrate various design and functional amenities that could be added with $25,000. The Milestone 1,000 celebration also will include special events at the sales centers, such as live radio broadcasts with local stations WCCQ-FM and WERV-FM. WCCQ will co-host a celebration at Gladstone’s Eaglecrest at Grande Reserve sales center from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 23. The event will coincide with the opening of Gladstone’s brand new Ashstone model, a unique plan that features a courtyard entry, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Additional live radio broadcasts are planed with WERV-FM from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at Moose Lake Estates; with WCCQ-FM from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Heritage Oaks; and with WERV-FM from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21 at Moose Lake Estates. Known for quality timber construction and attractive architectural touches, Gladstone offers 11 different single-family floor plans ranging from 3,075 square feet to 4,012 square feet and priced from the mid-300s to low-400s at each of the communities. In addition, townhomes are available at Heritage Oaks ranging from 1,960 square feet to 2,617 square feet. They are priced from $267,000. More information on Milestone 1,000, including contest rules and eligibility, locations of sales centers, radio broadcast event schedules, and home upgrade ideas can be found at www.gladstonehome.com beginning July 15.
